Windows 10 adds weird symbols for references when generating animations #12

Running reftree.demo.All reproduces this issue on windows 10.

Still pictures are generated nicely:

but animations get a wierd A-hat symbol next to the black circles:

Here's output of running reftree.demo.All with -Dsun.java2d.debugfonts=true output.txt
