Just upgraded today to 2.8.0 on Atom 1.12.9 Ubuntu 16.04. When starting Atom the package loading fails with:

Cannot find module 'pkg-config'

Is there a way to downgrade standard-formatter so it would work again?

I ran from command line apm install standard-formatter and it seems to work again... Not sure why upgrade failed before though...
