EPUB 3 files not readable in Kobo Aura H2O #3

I've tried uploading about 10 EPUB 3 files from the site to my Kobo Aura H2O (with the latest update, version 4.2.8432, from 2017-01-24), including g-k-chesterton_the-napoleon-of-notting-hill.epub3. None of them show up in the device's library. I tried uploading the EPUB files for the same books, and they all show up. Kobo support insist that EPUB 3 is supported by this device. Are you aware of something quirky/non-standard in your files?

Try removing the '3' from the file extension.

Eric is right, changing the extension from .epub3 to .epub should work. However note that Kobo still has very poor support for pure epub3 and it won't look very good. Try the regular epub instead.

I only just recently got access to a Kobo device so I hope to start making improvements soon, maybe within the next month.

I think I'm getting a handle on what some of the issues with Kobo are. Check out this post on how to copy ebups to Kobo readers and let me know if that sorts things out for you.
