After latest update Standard Notes opens to unresponsive white screen

Hello!

Hope you're well.

I just downloaded the latest update for Standard Notes. Afterwards the desktop app on my windows computer wouldn't open properly. Every time I opened it it would open to a blank, unresponsive white screen. The right-click menu wouldn't work anywhere. The close, minimise/maximise buttons wouldn't respond. I left it open for an hour to see if it would load eventually, which it did not. the program doesn't crash it just stays frozen. At about the same time I added a passcode lock to my desktop app. I don't know if that would have any impact on this. I also have the app on my android phone. The app on the phone works perfectly well. No issues there. The notes are all still there. I have attached a picture of what it looks like when I open the app.

Oh and I forgot to mention that I have uninstalled and reinstalled Standard Notes twice in an attempt to resolve the issue.

exactly same issue for me appimage debian 11

i downgraded back to .13 and disabled automatic updates and it's working again

I've confirmed that the earlier 3.9.13 release still works perfectly well. It's just the new release that has the blank screen issue.

The white window issue has gone away, although the folder extension does not load. I'm using the appimage on Fedora 35.

Please try toggling the Folder extension from the Quick Settings menu on and off. Should fix it!
