You could just extract the app's strings and metadata and use Weblate to let the community do the translationn, A lot of FOLSS projects like ImagePipe and NewPipe use Weblate to outsource translation to the community , it is a good way for people who can't code to contribute, and also a good timing since Standard Notes is still not blocked in China, and people there can still use it without a VPN.

I know that Android have made it way easier recently for apps to be made RTL (Right To Left) languages-friendly, like Arabic & Hebrew, I am not sure though if this will work for Electron apps.
