iOS Secure Spreadsheets cannot leave edit mode #2325

Open stkr22 opened 1 year ago

stkr22 commented 1 year ago

Describe the bug After clicking on a cell in a secure spreadsheet note I cannot leave edit mode. The only way is to close the note. Even when switching to the notes menu it still shows the keyboard. Clicking on "done" on the keyboard also does not help. It closes the keyboard and immediately opens it again.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Create Secure Spreadsheet note
  2. Open the new note
  3. Click on cell
  4. Try to leave edit mode

Expected behavior Close the keyboard after leaving a cell / edit mode. Close the keyboard when opening apps menu.

Same issue, using iOS 16.4. Once I open a spreadsheet for editing, the keyboard stays up and gets in the way, even after I switch to another note. The keyboard doesn’t respond to the keyboard hide button either. When another, non-spreadsheet note is selected for editing, it is possible to hide the keyboard using the button.

This is still an issue on Standard Notes 3.160.8 on iOS. Even setting the spreadsheet to not allow editing makes the keyboard open, and stay open. Even leaving the spreadsheet and going back to the main notes list keeps the keyboard open.

This is still an issue. Makes it quite impossible to work with spreadsheets on mobile. Not what one expects when subscribing.
