Hi @adoran2, so far I've confirmed that the iOS keyboard settings don't fully apply on Super and other related note types (Rich Text, Markdown), so I just wanted to confirm if this is also the case on your end?
Good question. Just tried it on my iPad; it seems to be a specific issue with Markdown notes.
Have you read the Longevity Statement?
Yes.
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. Editing notes on iOS is frustrating as a 'double space' does not result in a period/full stop appearing. New sentences are also not automatically capitalised. There is also no autocorrect. This works completely differently to every other note-taking app that I have used, and causes me issues every time I am writing in Standard Notes. Having to remember to adjust my behaviour, manually typing periods and capital letters slows down the note-taking process.
Describe the solution you'd like I would like the note-taking experience to follow the iOS defaults, i.e. two spaces result in a period being written to the document, new sentences being auto-capitalised etc. Ideally this could be a toggle for users to be able to turn on or off.
Describe alternatives you've considered None. Writing in a different app that obeys the norms of iOS and copying and pasting to Standard Notes defeats the point.
Additional context None.
