[Help Wanted] My note dissapeared and I can't get it back unless I pay for it? #3471

Ok so I literally just started using Standard Notes, for context I'm a musician and often write my lyrics using apps like Evernote, Obsidian or, in this case, Standard Notes. I had copied part of a specific lyric from another app and kept adding to it, writing new segments and whatnot, that was yesterday. Today I go on Standard Notes again and when I tap the note to edit it again for some reason now it's empty. I'm completely lost so I go to the settings to see what happened and there's a way to easily recover past sessions, great, until I actually tried to do it and quickly discovered it was locked behind a pay wall.

I'm willing to give Standard Notes a try, I really am, but god damn it what a punch in the face this was. To make things worse I didn't backup the older version of the song (that's on me I admit) and now I'm left song-less and hope-less unless I can find a way around the pay wall. Why lock such a crucial feature behind a pay wall? The themes I understand, they're a nice bonus but not crucial, but note history is just too important IMO. Doesn't help matters that this is, as far as I can tell, a weird bug with either the android app or the API.

To be crystal clear I did not delete all the text of my note beforehand it was just gone the next day, and my only hope of getting it back is by paying, what the hell.

Anyway, sorry if this isn't the appropriate place to post this, it was either this or discord.

Hi @VOIDHAERT, I'm really sorry to hear about what happened, but for this sort of issue, we'll need to do more troubleshooting, and we'll have to look into your account activity if there was really some sort of syncing issue.
