Hi @m45nu5, may I first ask if you've tried reinstalling the app on iOS as described below?

  1. Open the Settings app, and navigate to your iCloud backups with the following path: [Your name and iCloud account username (at the top)] → iCloud → Manage Storage → Backups → [Tap on the correct device]
  2. Wait for the list of apps to load.
  3. Tap on “Load all/more apps” if necessary and wait for the list to expand once more
  4. Finally, locate the Standard Notes app and tap on the toggle button to remove the current and all future backups of the app from iCloud.
  5. From there, please reinstall the app and sign in again.

Hi Effie!

Thanks for the suggestion!

I can try that, but I was thinking, is this procedure(SN icloud erase) going to erase my in-app-setting after the reinstall of the SN app?

Hi, sorry for the delay! Yes, this completely resets the app, so all in-app settings will be returned to the default as well.

If you're worried that you might have some unsaved changes, you can also choose to export a backup of your data first 👍
