Black screen on launch; iOS #3749

Describe the bug Sometimes when I launch Standard Notes all I get is a black screen with nothing on it. Multi Task, swiping it out of memory, and relaunching it will bring it back.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Launch Standard Notes after not having used it in a while. Does not happen every time.

Expected behavior App opens and list of notes appears.

Same on android

Same on Android. It takes 2-3 sec for the app to show anything except black screen. IMG_20240930_121644

I don't know if these are the same problem ios and android but on the iphone app I felt like I waited a while and nothing was happening. Meanwhile if I force quit the app and relaunch it immediately shows me the list of notes, tells you it's syncing, etc.

Hit with this again this morning and I counted to ten but the screen never filled in, just stayed black. Swiping out of memory and re-launching got it working instantly.
