Slack: Cannot register device #137

I cannot register the Slack device in My Almond. I'm pretty dumb, so it might be user error. But if that is so can someone tell me what my error is?

Hi @rowanham, Thanks for your report! I will need some additional information to triage it. Did you see any error message when you tried to configure Slack? Is this on an enterprise Slack workspace or a regular one (enterprise Slack workspace need an administrator to enable the Almond app first)? Also, I'm assuming this was in almond.stanford.edu. Did you configure it by saying "configure slack" or by clicking on the "configure new skill" button?

I tried to configure Slack using the "configure new skill", though after reading your response I also tried entering "configure Slack". In both cases the result was an error page from Slack saying "invalid_team_for_non_distributed_app". Our Slack domain is foretellai.slack.com. It is not an enterprise workspace - I created it just for this testing. I went into the workspace settings and loosened up any setting that looked like it might effect Almond, but still no luck.

It turns out that public usage of the Slack app got accidentally disabled for some reason. Can you try again?

Just tried it again and got a page from Slack saying that they have not approved it yet. I will try again later.
