Try:

[x] touch, opacity 0 - 100% meditation exercise screen. also try display: none, block. already tried visibility.
[x] maybe rectangles to tap. instead of entire screen and cutting a hole for the play pause button.

useState setOverlay() to toggle boolean blocks the setTimeout timer... and using the vanilla non-useState way doesn't seem to reach the elements.
