8 years ago JAK Karim for such a detailed suggestion. Unfortunately I've been pretty swamped with work lately and haven't had much time to work on the app. I've tried to emulate the look and feel of the News app with the hamburger menu and the pivot items on top, but I am not a big fan of Windows 10 hamburger placement usability either. I'll look into making these changes once I have some time.
In the meantime, if you would like to contribute with code change, please feel to submit a pull request.
First of all, thank you very much for this beautiful app. I think it has lots of potential but I also think some windows 10 mobile UI improvements can go a long way for your app! The fact you made it windows 10 UWP is amazing. First of all, a hamburger menu is normally not preferred, especially if the app contains so little benefit from having the options there, where an ellipses for little amounts of options is much more preferable. As such, I prepared a quick mockup to show you how I believe it should look for user comfort with one hand, which I think definitely your app should be.
For the surahs menu, the same thing applies. The bottom be surahs them selves, same thing. The bottom bar should contain whatever is in the hamburger menu, and the extra should be in the ellipses. Also the Surah font is too big in this instance, and should be made cleaner like the Quran font in the into of the app. Also, when your in the pure Arabic version, the font should be adjustable right there, and separate from the Arabic + English translation fonts.
As for the live tiles, I believe you should embrace your quran logo with transparent livetile. It would look much more beautiful.
Lastly, I would love to hear Mahmoud Al-Husary, the exact version found in Quran by Goheer on windows store would be the best!
