It would probably be a good time to take a look a deprecating cypress-multi-reporters in lieu of forking, as I don't really have time for maintenance anymore and if you are actively maintaining this, it saves having a fork in the community.
I can update this issue later with some tasks that would possibly need to be done.
Would you want to look at supporting both exported interfaces in this to ease transition?
