Error: java.lang.NullPointerException on attempt to load mdcsvimporter.mxt #15

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Opening Moneydance, Extensions> Add...
2. Selecting .mxt file as per instructions
3. Clicking Yes

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected to get to plug-in information splash screen; instead, am given MD 
error: "Error: java.lang.NullPointerException" 

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
MOneydance 2010r2 (735) on MacBook Pro 2.7 GHz Intel Core i7 running Lion 10.7.2

Please provide any additional information below.

Another user seemed to fix it by upgrading Java.
If that does not fix it, talk to Money Dance.
