Tweaks primarily for StringUtils fix in MD2023. Also various changes to fix NPEs and also use FileDialog for Mac (as old version was not working on Macs).. Build 1001 fixes a Windows debug message issue...

i think these changes are in InfiniteKind repo with maybe a couple more changes so skip this one and take that one.
