Your messaging should cater to the complete web-idiot.  When you look at
your directions from that perspective a few things are immediately obvious.

- what on earth is "web standards compliance" and why do I care?
- what is a tab?
- what is "phishing"

Obviously the developer community knows exactly what you're talking about,
but what about the other 99% of people?

Otherwise, I like the idea. thanks.

Yep, always a great point. Many of those were wording on google's download page 
as
well, so I a) wanted to match what they see when they click thru, and b) figured
Google had done some minimal UX research on what convinces people.

The next version, out soon, will provide lots of customization/theming options,
including the ability to change the entire contents of the window. So you can 
change
things to your heart's content :) 

But I'll think about making the defaults even more "fool-proof" as well. Thx
