For the purposes where this extension is used, it could be very nice to add
image error level analysis.
Jonas Wagner has an example in
http://29a.ch/sandbox/2012/imageerrorlevelanalysis/ and
http://29a.ch/sandbox/2012/imageerrorlevelanalysis/iela.js in less than 25
lines of javascript.
