@ecammit thanks so much for this PR. This makes sense and looks great to me even though I can't test with it. However I just merged another PR #7 which causes some small conflicts of this one. Can you kindly rebase to master and verify if it still works for combined speed/cadence sensor? I'll then merge right away.
