KB4586853 #1223

(Windows 10.0.19042 Build 19042) After installing a functionality update for Windows 10, the also installed KB4586853 patch prevented multiple users to login. Everything green in RDPConf, but I get the dreaded The number of connections to this computer is limited..." despite rdpwrap running error when trying to login remotely as any user, it worked prior to that update. After uninstalling the patch KB4586853 again (and rebooting, and then reinstalling RDPWrae), connections work again.

Was able to fix it using some INI from another user - but RDPConf.exe incorrectly indicates an unsupported version, see https://github.com/stascorp/rdpwrap/issues/1054#issuecomment-742637185.
