@alexchao56 @SunnySunnia @carlshan Wait. isn't this analyzer's role? cause our subgroup 2 (analyzer) is analyzing ETAS model.

@alexchao56 @SunnySunnia @carlshan Since you guys are not responding any of my post, our group will just stick with what we've been working on.
Hey @taywon,
So sorry for the late reply. We didnt know this task was taken as it was not crossed out on the list until we discussed with Aaron. So may us know how far your group has been working through? maybe we can split that task up.
Heyyyyyy Thank you for replying.
How about this.
(5) ETAS Model: utilizing the ETAS R Package
research the ETAS R Package ->our group Understanding the ETAS model -> your group which parameters to use ->our group which columns to use ->our group interpretation of the models ->your group output ETAS model in R -> our group.
The idea is that I've talked with data curator teamB and they told me that the other data curator teamA already done for their job, which is scrapping the data from online. So, me and datacurator teamB figured out that data curator teamB convert those data into specific object file which is necessary for using ETAS function in R, and our team is going to test those data and get the outputs and provide some visualization of those output. So, it will be great if you guys work on 1.Understanding the ETAS model 2.interpretation of the models
To sum up,
vertical a : Data curator teamA -> scrapping data from online vertical b : Data curator teamB -> convert those data into specific object file vertical c : Our group -> run the model with those specific object file and get the output( possibly provide some visualization) vertical d: Your group ->understanding the model, interpretation of the model.
In this way, we could effectively done something by Tuesday.
@wliang88
@carlshan
Let me know if this works out for you guys. data curator team B is already working on their job
Sounds good! And thanks for providing what the other groups are doing in relating to ETAS!
Our group will handle this:
(5) ETAS Model: utilizing the ETAS R Package
Understanding the ETAS model which parameters to use which columns to use interpretation of the models output ETAS model in R
Group 7: Alex, Sunny, He, Carl
