Brief Introduction Sudha

I am Sudha Kotapalli and currently a PhD student in Interdisciplinary Oncology. My project is to understand the role of chromatin remodelling in bladder cancer. Data analysis has become a big part of genomics and epigenetics and I am excited to be here and learn more.

Outside of work, I am a foodie and love cooking. I really enjoy hiking and biking in summers. I look forward to getting to know you all better and learning more.

I am genuinely happy that everyone in this team is very prompt in helping each other out.

Hello Sudha!

I totally agree with you on the important role that data analysis is playing in our fields. I think this is a common reason why we're interested in this course.

It seems that we all share similar hobbies, which is amazing! I also find cooking and baking very healing, especially during winter. The happiness is doubled or even more when you have someone to share the food with.

Hi Sudha,

It looks like both of us are working on very similar projects. I mean, we will be using similar methods and technologies. Will you do ChIP-seq and ATAC-seq analyses? If yes, then I don't have to worry since I have a senior colleague to help me out when the analysis gets tough.

Hmm, it appears I'm the only one who is not a foodie. In fact, I am now a foodie!:sunglasses:

So nice to meet you 😄. I totally agree with all of you, it is super important the data analysis in our projects (and do it tidy). I have been trying to study and understand the most I can but I'm kind of new programming.

I'm glad you are a foodie! I'm not the best at cooking but I would love to share with you all some dinner sometime.
