Hi Group 16! My name is Grace, and I am a first year MSc student in the Institute for Oceans and Fisheries. I grew up in Ontario, came to BC for my undergrad in UBC Forestry and stuck around.

I am studying the differences in biodiversity and habitat provisioning in different kelp ecosystems around British Columbia using environmental DNA methods. This methodology requires data to be analyzed with R - hence why I am in this class and ready to learn a lot.

Looking forward to getting to know more about your motivations for taking this class and what you are doing at UBC @mtello22 @tstang99 !

Hi Grace, nice to meet you. If you want to learn more about data analysis or statistics there are a lot of great courses under the statistics department.

Hello Grace! Nice to meet you, I hope you will find this curse useful, if you want to delve deeper into linear regression an other "omics" analysis, I highly recommend STAT540.
