Hi! What was the focus of your paleolimnology research? And what are you most excited for in grad school? :)
Hi Bre! Any favourite place you travelled to prior to going back to school?
Hi! What most excites you about your field of research?
My focus was on looking at a cladoceran sub fossils from a presumed naturally acidic lake that has been exposed to multiple stressors throughout the 20th century. Using cladocerans you could track past changes in biotic lake dynamics! I don't know if I can pick just one thing - I think it all excites me!
Hey! My favourite place that I went was Costa Rica - such a beautiful country!
What excites me most about my field of research is having the opportunity to work with aquatic organisms!
Hi everyone! I am a MSc Oceanography student in Dr. Pakhomovs lab. I grew up in the lower mainland, but have spent a large portion of my 20's in Eastern Canada. Previously, I completed my undergraduate degree at Queen's university, where I did research in the area of Paleolimnology. Since then I have been working and traveling, but I'm very excited to be back in school now!
