My Intro! #4

Hi everyone,

My name is Negar Zaghi and I am a MASc in Environmental Systems Engineering in the Civil Engineering department, working in Dr. Ryan Ziels lab. My research will be focused on microbiology and bioprocess engineering, using special microbes and bioprocessing to upgrade CO2 into methane.

I did my undergrad in the Chemical and Biological Engineering department right here at UBC and graduated in 2019. After my undergrad I worked for 4 years in sustainability startups related to compostable plastics, an NGO related to microplastics and abroad in Austria for a year doing modelling projects (Python and Matlab mostly so R is definitely new to me!)

In my spare time I love to walk outside, take hikes, go biking, swimming and generally outdoor activities. I love being outside and fun fact, I am also reversing my glasses prescription naturally back to 20/20 using the reduce lens method from Endmyopia.org and being outside looking at the distance is a must to get my eyeballs back in shape!

Hi Negar, nice to meet you. Thank you for sharing the way how to reduce the myopia. I have high myopia so would definitely check this out.
