We've been in Shopify land for the past few months and have been using their Bulk Editor tool quite a bit and realised how powerful and handy this is for bulk updating content on the fly.
It's essentially a spreadsheet style view where you can update multiple entires at once. I understand this would be a pain for some advanced fieldtypes like replicators and grids, and perhaps those fields are just unsupported for the time being. Having a bulk editor / spreadsheet view for basic fields like text, toggles, dates, select drop downs and maybe even relationships and taxonomies would be extremely handy for not only clients but us dev's as well when we're populating content for clients.
Perhaps this is an addon idea instead...? we'd pay for it!
