If you have a blueprint with an entry field, when you edit an entry and click Link Existing Item, the list you get back includes the current entry. (That's with Stack Selector, the same is true with the Select dropdown and Typeahead.)
I can't think of any sensible scenario where you'd want a recursive link, but even if it has to stay, maybe the entry could be highlighted or dimmed or labelled ('This Entry!') in some way?
