Also, there should be a page for this that provides links to all the endpoints, along with some example queries. This page should be part of the main menu. Also, we should propose that this gets added to the main GeoNode repo.

wow, I didn't recognize this before. It looks great, let's take a closer look at this and see if there is any room for improvement. It seems like it could be improved if the example urls took on the actual domain name of the site.
