Twitter Typeahead was last modified in 2015 April. The two main forks are: https://github.com/corejavascript/typeahead.js (meant to be similar and maintained) and https://github.com/algolia/autocomplete.js (customized for algolia API). So: update to corejavascript-typeahead.
