A long-term goal of the system is to enable a clear vision into how the funding of A.E is changing over time. To facilitate this, the system should enable the Coalition Secretariat to analyse the funding flows from top-level donors, through to implimenting partners, and understand at various disaggregations how much funding is going towards Agroecology.
This is a complex requirement, and will involve multiple individual features of the platform, to be finalised based on discussions about how exactly the analysis and reporting should be conducted. At minimum, it will require:
A way for the Secretariat to review and de-duplicate the list of institutions funding and receiving funds, based on the data entered by individual institutions about the sources and recipients of funds per initiative.
Tools to extract the required data for analysis
Possibly the development of an analysis approach that can be repeated / automated through server-side scripts.
A section of the platform / website dedicated to reports from the Secretariat to share the results of the funding flow analysis.
