I really like this client, and it would definitely replace the desktop client if it had one thing, and that's channel/chat search. Essentially the same as in the desktop app, which is a filter panel right above the list of channels and 1-to-1 chats that filters the list.
The only thing remaining would be some shortcuts. Something like:
ctrl-k - Focus the search window from any other window.
ctrl-l - Clear search field and show full list of channels.
enter/right - Open the currently selected channel/chat in list window.
up/down - Change currently selected channel in the list from the search window.
ctrl-j/ctrl-k - Same as above, just more vim-like.
