SIWE auto disconnecting, sign popup not appearing. #15704

Bug Report

Description

When trying to connect to dApp https://lab.web3modal.com/library/wagmi-siwe/ through the status desktop client, there are issues with dApp connection, like:

Sign button at https://lab.web3modal.com never actually signing, closing that dialog will disconnect the dApp on Status app side

Expected behavior

It is possible to connect to https://lab.web3modal.com/library/wagmi-siwe/ through walletconnect api

I will leave this for later after tackling all the production app issues.

Investigating the dApp logs and desktop side of logs i can see that the events are matching (pairing and settlement) but no request from any of the side, so I have no lead on this as of now

SIWE is not a priority, so should be descoped for this milestone @Seitseman @stefandunca.
