Investigate ENS name being put in the display name with purchasing an ENS name #16224

Description

@xAlisher was able to reproduce the issue of the ENS name being put in the display name, as shown by the fact that his display name is now his truncated pubkey: https://discord.com/channels/1210237582470807632/1217174556842655784/1279004556176392325

Hey, team. Do you know what is this 0x0482525b51 name means? I have alisher.stateofus.eth bought from the desktop. Mobile app synced to desktop (desktop was first)

Steps to reproduce

It seems like purchasing an ENS name is the way to reproduce

Expected behavior

Display name doesn't get affected (ENS name is not display name)

Actual behavior

The ENS name gets put in the display name and later replaced by the truncated pubkey

I've seen this as well but at the same time some users in the members list that have ENS are shown with only a regular display name, while others have the pubkey.
