With Qt 5 missing ARM/Windows support, this is highly unlikely to happen anytime soon :(
Thanks for the reply. That's sad, it's fairly unusable as a desktop app on ARM based device right now with emulated mode. I presume based on the technology spec for Status, it will never be made available in progressive web app mode, will it? I use Discord, and other apps in PWA mode which is very fast on ARM. Keep the issue open until potentially Qt supports ARM on Windows in the future, there will likely be more push towards supporting it with more devices as there is a new push towards ARM.
Yeah, they specifically mention Qt 6 in the second article:
Qt 6 has been supporting Windows on ARM as a Technology Preview since Qt 6.2, reflecting Qt's early commitment to this emerging, and since today, an new, exciting platform
Please add release builds for ARM CPU for Windows 11 ARM devices.
There is a big difference in performance between emulated apps and native apps on these devices.
