Crash on iOS after accepting contact request from Android #21418

Bug Report

The bug is random, and unfortunately, it can't be reproduced easily.

Reproduction

  1. Create a user on both iOS and Android.
  2. Add a new contact on Android by scanning the QR code on iOS.
  3. Send a contact request from Android.
  4. Accept the contact request on iOS.
  5. Leave the app in the foreground on the Contact tab for a few minutes.

Expected behavior

The new contact should appear in the Contact list without the app crashing.

Actual behavior

The contact does not appear in the list, and the app crashes.

We can't reproduce it consistently, so excluding from milestone now
