There's a couple of major version updates in here, which is why I had to tweak the gulpfile to account for changes in gulp's API between v3 and v4.
The remaining vulnerabilities appear to be part of upstream libraries and couldn't be automatically fixed. They require some more manual attention that will be addressed in another PR. I wanted to at least fix as many as possible and add a README for now.
