Summary

We propose participants can draw (using SNT) together what will become a collectible ERC721 rocket with the Embark platform.

Using Embark, we would like to build (ourselves or live) a DApp that allows participants to draw their own collectible rocket together at the Prague Hackathon.

  Product Overview

  We see this as an opportunity to use our own platforms (Embark) and ideas for expression while building in parallel with our principles at the Makers space in Prague. And just doing things that would generally make people smile, right?

The ‘x’ variations of ‘sets’ we can pre-design, generate or collaborate to build them together within a framework. A simple pixel structure for example, See visual references below

For the long term, using this geometric frame work of the ‘pixel rocket’ could allow us to 3D print the unique designs creating a collectible sculpture later. This could also be offered on a larger scale in collaboration with SuperRare available to all those who participate.

Product Description

A ERC721 collectible DApp with a UI that will allow users to draw within a certain number of predefined parameters and colors with SNT, while providing feedback and progress based on their decisions.

Requirements & Dependencies

The following rules or points to inform what we build:

• Participation in drawing requires paying SNT to draw.

• Redraw of pixel is possible if paying higher SNT value, old participant is refunded.

• When drawing is finalized, each pixel generates a ERC721 token with the final artwork and the amount used to draw the pixed locked in the ERC721

• ERC721 can be destroyed to unlock the SNT

• As for scalability, we would need to research how to use state channels to build this DApp, so participants can join once with the amount SNT they want to play, and further actions dont require transacions, only signed messages.

  Minimum Viable Product

  A working DApp with a functioning UI that enables participants to draw (with SNT) informing the overall design of the rocket.

Success Metrics

We would like to have a working DApp available for the 'Embark Rocket Collectibles' in partnership with SuperRare for users to continue collecting and building together. This could also lead to future versions and new rocket designs.

The rocket designs can be used to create "stickers" for our future "stickers market" of Status. Participants who 'draw' get a share of the profit instead of getting the ERC721 collectible.

Exit criteria

Upon exit we would have like to accomplish the follow:

1. Having a working DApp & collectible available.
2. A partnership with SuperRare on the Status platform for the collectible.
3. A brief plan of how this can evolve into newer versions or stickers.
