You have mentioned this as future consideration, and I'd love to add a +1 to get this prioritised. Similar templating extensions such as Liquid, create a new filetype to pick such as "HTML (Go)" that provides the correct syntax highlighting.
Unfortunately, I'm no longer using Nova in my daily work -- the editor got too crashy and I've moved on. What that means is that it's probably not going to happen unless someone contributes an implementation.
