Management Page and page specific hero image

Hi Reedyseth,

thanks for the great plugin! I have a few questions regarding the management page.

I set up a real management page as described here on GitHub https://github.com/stcr/subscribe-to-comments-reloaded/wiki/KB#Real-Page. But it seems as if the created page isn't loaded correctly when I click on the link to manage my settings under a post. The site URL of the real management page is http://kreditprojekt.org/kommentar-abo but instead the following page is loaded: http://kreditprojekt.org/kommentar-abo/?srp=1429&srk=d497bea9115cbf2c0f2609fa6892ca8f

I tried several workarounds: e.g. instead of entering the permalink under StCR settings I saved the page ID. But with the same result as above.

Actually, I'm not quite sure if I followed correctly your instructions. So, let me post here what I did and the questions that emerged from it when I followed your instructions:

I copied the index.php of my theme and renamed it to subscribe-to-comments and moved it into my Child-Theme folder.
I inserted the code in the new file at the very beginning, leaving the rest of the file untouched.
I disabled the virtual management page and created a new page. Then I assigned the suscribe-to-comments template to that page. The permalink of that page is: kreditprojekt.org/kommentar-abo/. I uploaded a header image for that page.
My custom permalinks settings are: kreditprojekt.org/blog/%postname%/

Question: Should I set the permalink of the newly created page to "kreditprojekt/blog/kommentar-abo/" instead of "kreditprojekt.org/kommentar-abo/"??? This doesn't seem clear to me in your instruction. In any case, I tried this but in vain. Same result as described above...

My intention would be to give the management page a specific hero image... How could I do that? The image is uploaded and assigned to the page. But the page is not loaded or the image isn't displayed...

Hi Reedyseth, I just realised that I'm using the Custom Permalinks plugin. Could this cause the problem...??? Kind regards.
