Hi Anna,

I think there was a misunderstanding in the other ticket #496

As mentioned:

We've made some changes to follow the WordPress.org plugin requirements. Sorry it has caused issues. It wasn't properly handled before and had to be fixed. You can change those messages in WP admin > StCR > Modulo per inviare commenti

Those messages were incorrectly handled previously. It did translate that text but it wasn't supposed to because that's dynamic text ( can be changed in the options ) and it wasn't according to the WordPress.org rules. We had to remove that in order to be in line with the WordPress.org rules.

When you go to the following pages in the WP Admin:

You'll see text areas in there where you can change the text that displays to the visitors. You'll see it's in English in there, those are the default values. You can change that text to be in your language.

text areas are great for many messages But I can't figure out where I can change the text displayed on the form after comment submission «Check your email to confirm your subscription.»

That's one of the translatable text strings. The translations goes through the WordPress system https://translate.wordpress.org/projects/wp-plugins/subscribe-to-comments-reloaded/

That text string is translated in French but it's waiting for review/approval by the WordPress translation team.

But it's been waiting for approval since December 2020. We can't affect that unfortunately.

I think the translation moderators are mostly volunteers. Things would go faster if it's paid employees but unfortunately that's not the case at the moment.
