Changing email address #568

Hi,

I am trying to change my email address on my site to where I receive notifications that alert me to comments on my site. I went to the notifications tab and changed the email, but when trying to comment after that, I am not receiving notifications. Does it take some time to reflect and/or update on the site? And if not how am I able to go about this?

I would also like to find out how two people can receive comment notifications as I run the site with my sister and we would both like to receive the notifications to our emails, but it currently seems like only one email can receive the notifications.

Your assistance is greatly appreciated.

Hi @LuluWaki

The "Sender email address" option in the Notifications tab is for the email address that is used as the sender for the notifications. It's not the email address that receives notifications.

The notifications are sent to the email address that is set as "Administrator Email Address" in WP admin > Settings > General.

There's no option at the moment to send it to multiple addresses, will add that to the to do list for an update.
