Timer slows down when phone goes into sleep mode #56

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Set timer and let it go into sleep mode or manually do it via the button
2.

What is the expected output? Timer to countdown consistently with other clocks. 

 What do you see instead? Timer seems to slow down when put into sleep mode.  Just started this with recent Sprint upgrade to Android 2.3.3

Please include the following info:
Phone model:LG Optimus S LS670
Android Version?2.3.3
ROM?

If possible, provide a logcat of the issue:
If you get a Force Close do an: adb logcat

Please provide any additional information below.

I have noticed a similar problem, and am also using an LG Optimus 670. The 
timmer used to keep accurate time even with the screen off (so I can put it in 
my pocket). Now it seems to stop counting down after about a minute of the 
screen turning off. Its rendered the app usless to me - I'd like it to work 
again.
No crashes, no forclsoses - the program nor the phone see any problems.

I also have the Sprint LG Optimus S with the latest update and have had the 
same experience with the app getting suspended after 10 or so seconds after 
turning the screen off. That causes the timer to   stop.

I also have the LG Optimus v. 2.3.3 and have the same issue.  I downloaded this 
app before my last system update and loved it.  I got the udpate and it stopped 
working as is described above.  I had the update removed (for a different 
reason) and the problem ceased and the timer worked perfectly again.  Received 
the update again and am back to not being able to use the timer.  I really 
utilize this app a lot and hope this issue is resolved soon!
