no alarm sound

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.starting the timer with a custom sound. All options set to defult otherwise. 
Picked both android defult sound options and tried music file as well.
2. Set timer and hear no alarm sounds. Will only vibrate with above setrings.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead? Expect to hear alarm. No 
sound from the timer is heared. Chacked all system sound options, everything 
was set to full volume. Can hewr sounds from otjer apps, but not from timer.

Please include the following info:
Phone model? LG optimus V
Android Version? 2.2
ROM? None.

If possible, provide a logcat of the issue:
If you get a Force Close do an: adb logcat

Please provide any additional information below.
No sound is heared from the app when alarm goes off, even though sound is 
enabled in the app and alarm sound selected. Can not hewr any noise from the 
timer app.

Got a slightly similar problem.

Ued the app for quite a while now on my defy+. Everything is fine (except 
already reported issue that you've got to unlock your phone to end the alarm).

I now installd the app on my xoom 2 ME. Problem: alarm doesn't ring when 
display is turned off. Already fine when display is on..

No sound on my mini Android PC 4.0.4 . The sound levels are high on my TV set 
and I do not see any sound levels in the app. Ciao Francisco ! Send you picture

Got also a quite similar problem. While on my Gingerbread phone everything 
works fine, on my Ice cream sandwich tablet, I get only he notification and the 
timer pops up. No sound or vibration.
This happens with every possible configuration. I mean with any custom sound as 
well as with the default one.
Vibration turned on or off in the menu doesn't matter as well.

On a Nexus 7 Jelly Bean I get no sound when the timer stops. Just flashes. 
Volume turned up. Other sounds work.

Same issue on a Razr M, after the new kit-kat update. It was working before, 
but now it won't vibrate or play sound.
