Cannot jump with Better Keyboard 5.2 active

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Make Better Keyboard 5.2 the active keyboard and then start game
2. Try jumping; cannot jump
3. Remap control key for jumping; still cannot jump
4. Exit game; make the default Android keyboard the active keyboard
5. Restart game; now I can jump

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Being able to jump, with either the default key (space) or a remapped key

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Motorola Droid, Android 2.0.1, not rooted or modded

Please provide any additional information below.

Graphics and sound are great.  Still getting used to playing it with a
touchscreen.  I appreciate the work.  Not sure if this is a problem with
your port or with Better Keyboard, but there does appear to be a conflict.
I have not played long enough to see whether there are other problems with
the keyboard controls, but moving and shooting seem to work fine otherwise.
