It seems that this master repo is pushing merges into https://github.com/ksperis/EnhanceIO which looks to have the required fixed and is ahead of this master. It also seems that there's a lack of feedback and leadership over all for this project.

The Code from https://github.com/ksperis/EnhanceIO fails also to compile. But thanks for the hint.

You can try my patches from pull request #84. Works for me on Debian sid.
