(Markdown) no empty line under headlines #1419

After making a headline with # the next line will be directly under it. It used to be different.

Example on Steemit:

It is a change from previous behavior. I'm not sure which way is correct though. Does anyone know if this is a 'bug' or 'feature'?

Might stem from #1350 / #1351

It is really annoying. Users should have option for both. It shouldn't just ignore a double line break. I have to choose between a complete lack of space, or a massive html < br >
