@relativityboy: I'm actually not now sure if category or tag is appropriate. I didn't realize until today that these were method name fragments in steem-js, e.g.:

get_discussionsbytrending get_discussionsbyhot

@inertia186 - There are filters and tags. Categories tend to creep in when it's close to nap-time.
