I just started looking into Steem as a dev platform. So I am not up on all the drama between it and Hive, just know that it exists. SteemConnect is referenced a lot in the tutorials and such. And it does not seem functional anymore as it has moved to Hive. So all those links to the dashboard and other steemconnect things are just going to a page for Hivesigner (which I think is the Hive version of SteemConnect.)
I don't know what exactly you want to do about it, either remove all those sections or it seems there is a replacement option in SteemLogin so it could be updated with that. Though it does not seem to be a direct replacement in some regards from what little I looked at and therefore may need the docs to be updated some.
Either way, this is not a good look to present for new developers going through steem documentation and should probably be fixed sooner rather than later if steem is trying to attract new dapp developers.
