There should be particles emanating from the obstacle/player when passing through it. They should have the color of the obstacle. When exiting the obstacle, there should be a small cascade of particles in the same color.
Changing the color of the particles seems to be impossible, might be a bug in this unity version. The burst seems to be too much work for a result that probably will not even be visible.
