The links between verb positions, empty slashes, pragmatic force and clause types reminds me of Richter (1997), which looks quite similar in its HPSG rendering in many respects, and argues very similar points throughout (the theory of German sentence structure of Richter & Sailer 2001 is an updated version thereof, but it omits the connection to clause types at issue here, adding morphological considerations and LRS semantics instead).
